Now that all 4 graduations are in the books, I'm blessed and honored to share my next big step:
In early August, I will be moving to Italy to join the Rev. Austin K. Rios to serve for the next year at St Paul's Within the Walls Episcopal Church in Rome through the Young Adult Service Corps (YASC)!!! In addition to helping with parish ministry I'll be heavily involved with the Joel Nafuma Refugee Center, which assists hundreds of immigrants fleeing perilous situations in North Africa, Central Asia and elsewhere. I'll also be spending time at the Anglican Centre in Rome participating in varying forms of ecumenical dialogue (and being visited by the fabulous MK McAdams)! Y'all I'm asking your prayers, donations and moral support as I prepare to embark on this wonderful journey! And I'll be blogging throughout the year too, so I hope you'll read my blog too!
